Refund Policy

1. Free content
Most of Warisan Nusantara is and will remain free: our destination guides, dishes, parks, festivals, articles, recipes, the cost calculator, and the country maps. You do not need to pay to use these.
2. Premium features (Pro / Family)
Some features, such as the AI trip planner, offline access, advanced personalization, and unlimited saved trips, may be available under a paid plan ("Pro" or "Family") when launched. This policy describes how refunds work for those paid plans.
If you do not see pricing on the site, premium plans have not been launched yet. This policy is a forward-looking commitment to our future users.
3. 7-day money-back guarantee
If you subscribe to a paid plan and are not satisfied for any reason within 7 days of your first charge, email billing@warisannusantara.com and we will refund the full amount. No questions, no friction.
We honor this guarantee for every new subscriber, regardless of the reason. We trust you to be honest with us, and we will be honest with you.
4. EU / UK 14-day cooling-off period
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) gives you a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service purchase within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. We honor this right for every EU/UK subscriber, regardless of the price tier.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, email billing@warisannusantara.com within 14 days of your purchase. We will refund the full amount within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same payment method you used.
5. Cancellation vs. refund
Cancellation stops future charges. It does not, by itself, refund past charges. If you want a refund for a charge you have already paid, see the 7-day guarantee above.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. After cancellation, your paid features remain active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
6. Pro-rated refunds
Outside the 7-day (or 14-day EU/UK) window, we generally do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods. We may make exceptions for:
- Documented medical emergencies
- Service outages lasting more than 7 consecutive days
- Accidental double-charges or duplicate subscriptions
- Errors on our part
Email billing@warisannusantara.com with details and we will respond within 5 business days.
7. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, we may need to suspend your account while we investigate. We will work with you to resolve the dispute quickly. Filing a chargeback for a charge that was correctly billed to you is a violation of our Terms of Service.
8. Affiliate bookings
Bookings made through our affiliate partners (Booking.com, Agoda, Klook, etc.) are governed by the partner's own refund policy, not ours. We do not control or process refunds for affiliate bookings. Contact the partner directly.
We mark all affiliate links clearly. We do not share your booking data with partners beyond what is required to complete the booking.
9. How to request a refund
Email billing@warisannusantara.com with:
1. The email address on your account
2. The date and amount of the charge
3. A short note on why you want a refund (optional but helps us improve)
We respond within 5 business days and process approved refunds within 14 days.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will not apply retroactively to charges already made. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect when changes were made.
